About Me
Here to Serve
With roots in my family's orchard business and extensive experience across agricultural and natural resource industries, I bring a deep understanding and a passion for developing leaders. As an optimist and catalyst for action, I simplify complex concepts into actionable steps, ensuring clarity and progress.
For me, being a leader transcends the titles I have or the positions I hold. Leadership is a choice and a journey to share my skills and talents in the pursuit of positive influence and impact on the people and community around me.
I believe we need more leaders in our world. We need leaders everywhere, in every nook and cranny of our communities and organizations.
Leadership is messy and it can feel very lonely. It requires courage, vulnerability, and resilience in everyday decisions as much as in big decisions. The meaning of the word “encourage” is quite literally to put courage into another person. My aim as a leader is to instill courage in others. I speak about the messy parts of leadership that we do not talk about enough, normalizing the awkward, uncomfortable, cringy, and the just plain hard parts of everyday leadership. I create space for emotions, big questions, mistakes, and growth.
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
-african proverb
